ABOUT

Hi, I’m Julia.

I bring 25 years of experience as a front-line fundraiser to my work with Fundraising Communications.

My teams have asked individuals, companies, and foundations to make philanthropic gifts for higher education, social services, cultural organizations, and environmental causes. I have experience in institutional giving, capital campaigns, annual fund and membership campaigns, and, crucially, donor stewardship.

Now, I specialize in donor communications from proposals to branding to fundraising appeals that place your donors at the center of your story and drive giving to your cause.

Consumer psychology, narrative design, and behavioral economics are three fields that have enhanced the understanding of donor decision-making and now guide my hands-on work with clients.
